Tracking tennis
Every tennis match, on the record.
- games win a set
- 6
- an advantage set, a full set in tennis
- 9-7
- points in a match tiebreak
- 10
Sets to six games, win by two, tiebreak sets at 7-6 and advantage sets that run past 7-5. Up to three sets in one match, and a 10-point match tiebreak is saved as the deciding set. Any score saves, so a set cut short by the light still counts.
EVO and rankings
Your tennis EVO, in every group.
Your EVO
A 0 to 100 tennis rating, separate from every other sport and the same in every group. Wins lift it, losses lower it, and beating someone rated above you moves it more. It appears after your tenth tennis match, with a ring that fills as it gets sure of your level.
Your group's table
Create a group, share the link, code or QR, and every tennis match feeds a ranking your friends can see. Play in more than one group and they all share the same tennis EVO.
Quick Match
No group? Record a tennis Quick Match against any player by username. It's kept in your history but doesn't change EVO.
Questions
5 questions
What tennis players ask before their first match.
Does FinalPoint track tennis doubles?
Yes. Record singles or doubles. In doubles all four players get the result on their record and their tennis EVO moves with it.
What tennis scoring does FinalPoint support?
Sets to six games, win by two, tiebreak sets at 7-6 and advantage sets that run past 7-5. Up to three sets in one match, and a 10-point match tiebreak is saved as the deciding set. Any score saves, so a set cut short by the light still counts.
How is a tennis EVO rating worked out?
Every player has a separate 0 to 100 EVO for each sport, worked out on our servers after each confirmed match. The change scales with the gap between you and your opponent, so beating a higher-rated player moves your number more. It shows after your tenth tennis match, and the ring beside it fills as it gets sure of your level.
Can one group play tennis and another sport?
Yes. Mixed-sport groups are supported, and each sport keeps its own rankings and its own EVO. A tennis win never touches your rating in another sport.
Is FinalPoint free for tennis?
Yes. Groups, matches, rankings, EVO and badges are free, with no ads. Rally and Pro add all five sports, unlimited groups, full history and deeper stats, and you never need either to play.
