Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FinalPoint (the “Service”), operated by AJ Oluwasina (United Kingdom). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised. You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights while using the Service.
- Upload content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that depicts a person without their consent.
- Record false match results, impersonate other players, or otherwise manipulate the Service’s rankings.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the Service’s integrity protections, including anti-padding defences, rate limits, and role-based permissions.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Service’s operation.
- Scrape, harvest, or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what is allowed by applicable law.
4. Content you provide
You retain ownership of the content you upload (profile pictures, match information, group names). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you and the other members of the groups you join. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups retained for a reasonable period.
5. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — code, design, logos, copy — belongs to us. You may not copy it or use our branding except as allowed by these terms or applicable law.
6. Moderation and termination
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, risk the safety of the Service, or expose us to legal liability. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings → Settings & notifications → Delete my account; deletion is immediate and permanent, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you have lost access and cannot sign in, email info@thefinalpoint.app and we will delete it on your behalf after verifying your identity.
To report illegal content, harassment, or any content that breaches these terms, email info@thefinalpoint.app with the URL (if applicable) and a short description. We review reports promptly and, where action is warranted, will remove content or suspend the account responsible.
7. Service availability and changes
The Service is provided as a work in progress. We may add, change, or discontinue features without notice. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved — back up anything that matters.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that EVO ratings, leaderboards, achievements, or any other output of the Service are accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) GBP £50.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer-protection law says otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
